Conductor Emeritus

 

Tom Maxwell Head ShotTom Maxwell is a founding member of the Clintonville Community Choir and was the Conductor from 2006 through 2012.

Tom earned his Bachelor of Music in voice performance from The Ohio State University. He established himself early on as a sensitive interpreter of French, German and modern American art song, taking 1st place in the NATS Great Lakes Regional Competition for three consecutive years.

His professional credits include oratorio appearances in C.P.E. Bach’s Magnificat, Dubois’ The Seven Last Words of Christ, J.S. Bach’s Magnificat, Handel’s ‘Brockes’ Passion and appearances on the operatic stage in Carmen, Barber of Seville, Madama Butterfly, Porgy and Bess (concert version), The Consul and operettas such as The Mikado Ruddigore. His television credits include the title role in Conversio Sancti Pauli, produced by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
